Coming from a long line of cooks, caterers and pizza makers, I’ve always loved food. I graduated from the baking and pastry arts management program at George Brown College in Toronto, and I currently work at Malvern Buttery.

Since 2015, I’ve also worked as a ghostwriter and content marketer for professional services firms. My work has scored clients national media attention and bylines in Modern Restaurant Management, Kiplinger, Law360, Daily Journal, REBusiness, Intellectual Property Magazine, Money Inc. and Financial Advisor. I’ve written about everything from Prince’s estate planning mistakes to feral hog hunting laws in Texas.

Before becoming a full-time freelancer, I wrote about people’s experiences with food insecurity at a food bank; taught kids about vegetables and worked on farm-to-school initiatives at a local food system nonprofit; and spent a year living in Bilbao, Spain, where I picked up a few words in Basque and spent a lot of time choosing olive oil at the grocery store.
